Penny Wallace

Penny Wallace is an experienced professional in wildlife conservation and management, currently serving as the Counter Wildlife Trafficking Program Manager at the Wildlife Conservation Society since October 2022. Previously, Penny worked as a Project Coordinator at the Department of Conservation, focusing on predator control research projects across New Zealand, and as a Programme Officer for TRAFFIC International, where coordination of global actions on illegal wildlife trade was paramount. Other notable roles include Project Officer at Oxford Policy Management, Environmental Education Programme Coordinator at the Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity, and Lecturer in Animal Welfare at Landbased College. Penny holds an MSc in Primate Conservation from Oxford Brookes University and has extensive experience in project management, financial oversight, and community outreach within the conservation sector.
