Scott Smith

Assistant Director Of Communications at Wildlife Conservation Society

Scott Smith serves as the Assistant Director of Communications at the Wildlife Conservation Society, building press relationships and managing communications for the organization's North America program since January 2006. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientist for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, focusing on emergency response and environmental assessments from 1999 to 2005. Earlier, Scott worked as a Bioremediation Research Scientist at Envirogen from 1994 to 1999, specializing in the design and testing of technologies for environmental remediation. Scott holds a Master of Science in Environmental Communications from Antioch University New England and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Maryland.
