Yakubu Abashiya

Yakubu "Yaksman" Abashiya is a seasoned radio professional with a diverse background in content production and campaign management. Currently serving as the Yankari Radio Campaign Manager at the Wildlife Conservation Society since February 2023, Yakubu previously worked as a Content Producer, Presenter, and Trainer at Police Radio 99.1 Abuja from October 2021 to March 2023. Yakubu also has extensive experience as a Radio Producer with BBC MEDIA ACTION Nigeria from August 2015 to March 2023. Yakubu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, where studies were completed from 2004 to 2008.
