Margaret O'Gorman

Margaret O'Gorman is an experienced environmental leader currently serving as President and CEO of the World Environment Center since January 2024 and as President of the Wildlife Habitat Council since 2012, where efforts focus on empowering corporate environmental stewardship across multiple industry sectors. O'Gorman previously held the role of Board Chair for the New Jersey League of Conservation Voters Education Fund from 2010 to 2013, establishing a non-profit aimed at engaging and educating voters on environmental issues. As Executive Director of the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey from 2006 to 2012, O'Gorman managed the organization's growth and development. O'Gorman's board memberships include Leadership New Jersey and EarthShare New Jersey, along with leadership experience at various organizations in development and publishing. Educational credentials include a BSc in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Galway and an MSc in Micropalaeontology from the University of Southampton.
