Javier Augusto Mancera Romero

Javier Augusto Mancera Romero possesses extensive experience in community development and environmental management, currently serving as the Global Director of Community Development and REDD+ Manager for Wildlife Works since August 2019, focusing on developing and implementing REDD+ project portfolios in Colombia. Previous roles include consultancy positions at the Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, where contributions spanned project formulation for restoration economics and national restoration targets, and various engagements in developing policies for biodiversity restoration and sustainable rural development.
