Balamurugan Mayakrishnan

Balamurugan Mayakrishnan has over 25 years of experience in Ship Management. Balamurugan worked at Wilhelmsen group from 2017 until present as the Head of Vessel Accounting. In this role, they managed and supervised a team of over 50 staffs in the Shared Service Centre division. Their responsibilities included establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, as well as ensuring compliance with group policies and statutory requirements. Prior to this, they held the positions of Senior Accounts Manager from January 2016 to June 2017 and Accounts Manager from July 2004 to December 2015 at the same company.

Balamurugan Mayakrishnan completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy from The University of Bolton in 2009. In 2018, they partially completed the professional papers for ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and is currently a finalist in the program.
