Christian Løset

Christian Løset has a diverse work experience in the IT and consulting industry. Christian started their career at Løset Consult, where they worked as the owner of the IT consulting firm, providing services to individuals and smaller businesses. Christian then worked at Lefdal Elektromarked as a part-time Sales Representative, PC-technician, and Department Manager.

After that, Christian joined Capgemini as a Consultant in the Insights & Data practice, delivering Information Management & Analytics projects to clients in banking, insurance, and maritime industries. Christian also worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte in the Business System Transformation practice, helping clients with complex business problems involving technology solutions.

Christian then joined Wilhelmsen Global Business Services IT (GBS IT) as the Head of Information Management, where they were responsible for managing data and delivering Data & Analytics services to support digital transformation. Christian later became the Head of Technology & Strategy, Data & Analytics, leading the Data & Analytics team in ensuring well-managed data and delivering data-driven services for the organization.

Christian also had roles as the Acting Head of Technology & Strategy, Integrations, where they were responsible for establishing a new integration platform, and as the Director of Enterprise Applications, where they established a new department for technology landscape. Currently, Christian holds the position of Vice President, Enterprise Applications at Wilhelmsen Ships Service, leading the technology vision and execution for the world's largest maritime supply network. Christian'sresponsibilities include overseeing the technology landscape, managing enterprise applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, cyber security, integrations, and enterprise architecture to align technology with business strategy.

Christian Løset holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Economics and Finance (AEF) from Copenhagen Business School, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School from 2009 to 2012. Christian'searlier education includes an Education Programme for Specialization in General Studies from Drammen High School, where they attended from 2007 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Christian obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from CUPE International Ltd in 2016 and the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from the same institution in 2015.
