Yu Luo

Yu Luo is a data scientist currently employed at Wiliot since November 2022. Previously, Yu held positions as an Analytic Scientist Specialist and Predictive Modeling Intern at Nationwide from May 2021 to October 2022. In early 2021, Yu contributed to the World Data League, focusing on senior transportation modeling in Portugal, and served as a Data Scientist Fellow at Menon Labs, developing predictive models using the Spotify API. Yu participated in the 2021 Stanford Open Datathon, receiving recognition for original contributions related to Covid-19 data analysis in the Big Ten Conference. Additional experience includes an internship at Chubb, where Yu applied generalized linear models to homeowner insurance pricing. Yu holds a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Penn State University.
