Shalaan Powell

Shalaan Powell is an accomplished screenwriter and assistant executive producer at WILL Interactive since October 2019, specializing in interactive training videos. As the creator, writer, director, producer, and editor at SKiP Studios since August 2017, Shalaan has developed original entertainment projects, including the supernatural dramedy web series "The Abnormals." Previous roles include videographer and editor at LECHIC ACADEMY FOUNDATION INC, where Shalaan worked on the “Biz Start Up Kidz” series, and various positions in film production, such as camera operator and assistant director of photography at RL Productions. Shalaan also has experience in customer service and theater operations from roles at Landmark's Atlantic Plumbing Cinema and Nando's PERi-PERi USA. Shalaan holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Frostburg State University.
