Mark Zusman

Mark Zusman is an established media professional with extensive experience in journalism and publishing. Since 1983, Zusman has served as the Editor of Willamette Week, an alternative weekly newspaper in Portland, Oregon, and has held the position of Publisher since 2015. Additionally, Zusman is the Founder of both TechFestNW, a leading tech conference established in 2011, and MusicFestNW, originally co-founded in 1995. Zusman also contributed to the field of alternative journalism as Past President of the Association of Alternative Newsmedia and as Past President of the Board of Directors for the Independent Media Institute. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor's degree in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
