David Sharp

David’s passion for sailing and ocean racing has seen him participate in 15 Sydney to Hobart yacht races. It is the same skills required to navigate oceans which he believes are crucial in guiding and supporting his clients every day.

Aside from pursuing this passion, David specialises in providing accounting, taxation, and business advice to businesses focused on growth.

Having founded a start-up accounting practice, David appreciates business issues facing his clients. “He understand that business owners can feel isolated, this understanding means he can help work through their business issues. He act as an external CFO, by coming up with individualised and practical solutions.”

With over 30 years’ experience, David uses his in-depth knowledge to provide clients with quality, up-to-date, common sense advice and services. “It’s important to reduce the stress of compliance and administration for clients and focus on giving them the tools and information necessary to run their businesses more effectively.”

Commencing his career as an auditor before transitioning into business advisory, David has considerable experience in providing advice to owners of growing businesses. David’s special interests include his qualification as a registered commercial mediator and in valuing and advising veterinary practices. He has consulted and valued more than 700 practices over the past 20 years.

David believes the key to assisting clients is to understand what the client wants as well as what they need.
