Jim Gilliland Ph.D., P.eng., Fec, Fgc Fcsce (Hon.)

Jim Gilliland, PhD, P.Eng., FEC, FGC(Hon.) FCSCE has extensive work experience as a Director of Engineering Services at Williams Engineering Canada Inc. since May 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Engineer at Stantec from September 1996 to April 2006.

Jim Gilliland, PhD, P.Eng., FEC, FGC(Hon.) FCSCE completed their education in the field of engineering. Jim first pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Queen's University from 1988 to 1992. Afterward, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the same institution, attending from 1992 to 1994.

Continuing their academic journey, Gilliland pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Structural Engineering at the University of Calgary. Jim completed their doctoral studies between 1994 and 2000.

Throughout their educational history, Gilliland focused on various branches of engineering, including Civil and Structural Engineering.
