Rob Wilson

Rob Wilson is an accomplished mechanical engineer currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Williams Racing since October 2022, focusing on mechanical design in the Rear of Vehicle group. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Senior Design Engineer at Xtrac Ltd from August 2014 to October 2022, where responsibilities included leading a team on motorsport projects, designing transmission systems, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects. Earlier professional experience includes a role as Product Engineer at The Barden Corporation (UK) Ltd, where Rob specialized in customer application analysis and the development of prototype designs. Rob holds a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of England, earned between 2008 and 2011.
