Fanny Ortega

Fanny brings more than 20 years of accounting and advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Prior to WilliamsMarston, Fanny was a Senior Associate at Chord Advisors, LLC, a boutique accounting advisory firm serving more than 400 pre-IPO, public and private equity-backed growth companies on a variety of technical accounting, SEC reporting and capital markets transactions. While at Chord Advisors, Fanny advised clients on the implementation of various cloud-based software platforms, as well as the integration of those platforms with clients’ ERP systems. Her industry expertise includes biotech, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and cryptocurrency.

Prior to Chord Advisors, Fanny was an Associate Director of Finance for a publicly-held biotech company where she participated in the company’s initial public offering and external and internal audits to assure compliance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines. Fanny also had responsibility for inventory management, accounting system implementation, and human resources.

Fanny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Berkeley College.
