Melanie Spanswick

Melanie Spanswick is an accomplished composer, author, and educator with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently serving as a composer and author at Schott Music GmbH & Co. KG, Melanie specializes in tonal and Minimalist compositions for piano and chamber ensembles. Additionally, Melanie is an author of several instructional piano books, including the "Play it again: PIANO" series and the "First Repertoire for Little Pianists," which guide learners of various ages and skill levels. As a piano professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Melanie imparts knowledge to aspiring pianists, while also contributing to the field as a music adjudicator and freelance musician. Melanie's educational background includes an MMus in Performance Studies from the Royal College of Music.
