Matthew Garman

Matthew Garman is the current Chief Financial Officer at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Matthew has over 18 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Garman began their career as an Assistant Controller at Global Crossing in September 2000. Matthew was actively involved in the company’s bankruptcy process and emergence. In April 2004, they became the Chief Financial Officer of New York Magazine. Matthew held this position for four years before becoming the CFO of Box Studios in March 2008. Matthew held this position for six years before joining Clyde & Co LLP as their US Chief Financial Officer in June 2014. Matthew remained with the company for four years before their current role at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

In their current role, Garman is responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight for the US operations of an international legal services firm. Matthew is responsible for driving organizational performance, improving profitability and maintaining financial stability during a period of rapid growth and expansion.

Matthew Garman attended Bucknell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting. Matthew is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of New Jersey.
