Rachel Hatley-Starnes

Rachel Hatley-Starnes has extensive work experience in design and leadership roles. Rachel is currently the Group VP of Design and Managing Director (Remote) at WillowTree since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Edelman as the EVP, Experience Design Director from October 2021 to March 2023. Rachel also held various positions at WillowTree, including Partner & VP of Design from June 2021 to October 2021, Design Director from January 2020 to June 2021, and Senior Product Designer from February 2018 to January 2020. Before joining WillowTree, they worked at Microsoft as an Art Director from August 2016 to January 2018 and at R/GA in different design roles, including Senior Designer and Visual Designer for Nike from 2010 to 2016. Overall, Rachel has a strong background in design, leadership, and product development across multiple industries.

Rachel Hatley-Starnes received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Production Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Rachel also pursued continuing education in Advanced Photoshop at the School of Visual Arts.
