Matthew Wernke

Matthew Wernke has extensive experience in research and development within the biomedical engineering field. Currently serving as the Director of Research and Development at WillowWood since December 2013, Matthew has also held the positions of Research and Development Manager and Applied Research Engineer in the same company. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs for a brief period in 2013 and as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at the University of South Florida from 2009 to 2013. Matthew earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Florida State University.
