Alysa Hartman has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Alysa started their career as a Child Support Enforcement Investigator at the Missouri Department of Social Services in 2000. Alysa then worked as an Educational Diagnostician and Self-Employed Consultant, administering and interpreting psychological tests for children. In 2004, Alysa became the Education & Career Development Coordinator at Community Services, Inc. Head Start, where they supervised teaching staff and organized curriculum planning and instruction.
In 2006, Alysa joined LCS as a Training & Recruitment Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Training & Benefits Coordinator. Alysa was eventually promoted to Instructional Design & Training Manager, focusing on talent development. Alysa also owned and operated The Queen's Cakery from 2008 to 2014.
In 2018, Alysa took on the position of Director of Talent Development at Basin Holdings, where they provided consulting on talent management strategies and developed comprehensive training programs. Alysa concurrently worked as an Organizational Development Specialist/Medical Librarian at Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois, revitalizing learning objectives and content for the organization's Leadership Development Academy.
Since 2021, Alysa has been serving as the Director of People & Culture at Willy Street Co-op, where they are responsible for developing and executing HR and customer experience strategies.
Throughout their career, Alysa has consistently demonstrated expertise in talent development, training, and organizational development across various industries.
Alysa Hartman has an extensive education history. Alysa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Chemistry from Northwest Missouri State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Alysa then pursued a Master of Science degree in Counseling & Educational Psychology from the same university, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. Later on, Alysa attended Grand Canyon University from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in General Psychology.
In addition to their formal education, Alysa has pursued several certifications. Alysa has obtained a Certified Diversity Recruiter certification from AIRS powered by ADP in June 2022. Alysa also holds certifications in various training facilitation, including Certified Facilitator of Crucial Accountability Training and Certified Facilitator of Crucial Conversations Training, both from VitalSmarts. Furthermore, Alysa has certifications as a Clinician Coach in Coaching Clinicians for Enhanced Performance and Faculty in Clinician Patient Communication Training, both from the Institute for Healthcare Communication. Alysa also holds a Consumer Health Information Specialization - Level I (CHIS) certification from the Medical Library Association.
