Laura Lawday (ACA)

Laura Lawday (ACA) has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Laura is currently working as the Head of Group Finance at Wilmington plc since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Group Financial Accountant at G4S from July 2019 to June 2021. Laura also worked as the Group Financial Accountant at The Vitec Group plc from February 2017 to July 2019. Before joining The Vitec Group plc, they worked as an Audit Assistant Manager at KPMG UK from July 2015 to February 2017, where they gained experience in auditing a wide range of groups including FTSE listed Groups under IFRS and UK GAAP. Starting their career at Berg Kaprow Lewis LLP as an Auditor in September 2011, Laura also gained experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and personal tax computations while completing their ACA Chartered Accountant qualification.

Laura Lawday attended the ICAEW from 2012 to 2014. During their time at the ICAEW, they obtained the certification of ACA qualified chartered accountant in November 2014.
