Mitch Freed has over 20 years of experience in software development and engineering.

Mitch'smost recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Wilqo, where they started in May 2023.

Before that, they worked at Docutech for 10 years. Mitch served as a Principal Architect from November 2019 to May 2023, a Director of Software Development from January 2017 to November 2019, and a Software Architect from February 2013 to January 2017.

Prior to Docutech, Mitch worked as a Software Engineer at McAfee from December 2011 to February 2013, and as a Software Engineer at NitroSecurity from December 2009 to December 2011.

Mitch also has experience as a Software Developer at Melaleuca from April 2009 to December 2009, and as a Software Engineer at NitroSecurity from August 2008 to April 2009.

Mitch's earlier experience includes a role as a Sr. Software Engineer at DocuTech Corp from May 2002 to August 2008, a brief stint as a Software Engineer at Solex in 2007, and as a Software Developer at ICServ/EZ NetTools from 2000 to May 2002.

Mitch Freed earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they attended from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Mitch Freed obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) from Microsoft in April 2015.
