Masoud Rezaei, PhD, EIT, is a structural engineer at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects since September 2021. Prior to this role, Masoud served as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2017 to February 2021, where responsibilities included instrumenting the Kishwaukee River five spans post-tension bridge and conducting inspections for surface crack detection. Earlier experience includes work as a graduate research assistant at the Building and Housing Research Center from August 2013 to January 2016, focusing on the optimal analysis and design of space structures. Masoud Rezaei earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural & Material Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago (2017-2021), worked in earthquake engineering at Shahid Beheshti University (2016-2017), obtained a Master of Engineering in Structural & Earthquake Engineering from the Road, Building, and Housing Research Center (2013-2015), and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University (2010-2013).
