Maya Jani is the Director of Business Improvement at Wilson James. Maya has over 20 years of experience in procurement and has held senior positions at Heathrow and BMW.

Maya started their career as a buyer for capital equipment at BMW Group in 1996. Maya then moved to BMW AG München in 1999, where they worked in methods, processes, and strategy for technical purchasing. In July 2000, they joined Heathrow as the Procurement Director for Expansion.

At Heathrow, Maya led the creation of the Logistics Hub Strategy, which became a case study in the Government Industrial Strategy. Maya also formed and led the Heathrow Expansion Procurement Team and secured Heathrow as the first accredited Living Wage airport.

In their current role at Wilson James, Maya is responsible for improving business performance through process improvement and change management initiatives.

Maya Jani is a student at the University of Brighton, where they are studying European Business with Technology. Maya will likely receive a Bachelor of Science degree upon completion of their studies.
