Marko van der Smitte

Marko van der Smitte is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience in sales and management across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development & NPI at Wilting since January 2022, Marko is responsible for the business development of the complete product portfolio and new ventures. Previously, Marko held the position of Sales Director for Inert Gas Systems at Alfa Laval, leading global sales and marketing efforts while managing teams. Marko's career includes roles as Business Unit Manager and Sales Manager, notably in the offshore industry at Bosch Rexroth and sales engineering in the poultry sector at Stork Food Systems. Marko holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
