Austin Zhang

Austin Zhang is an actuarial analyst with experience in both life insurance and financial services. Currently at Wilton Re since September 2022, Austin previously held the same position at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. from June 2019 to August 2022, engaging in significant projects that analyzed mortality impacts due to Covid-19 and updated pricing model assumptions. Prior experience includes roles as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota, an analytics intern at Be The Match, and various positions ranging from data entry to operations management. Austin holds education from the University of Minnesota and the University of Waterloo, complemented by a strong background in data analysis and collaboration within team environments.
