Carlotta Orsenigo has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and optimization. Carlotta started their career in 2003 as a research fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where they worked until 2005. Following this, they joined the Università degli Studi di Milano as an assistant professor from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they returned to Politecnico di Milano as an assistant professor and later became an associate professor of machine learning and optimization in June 2019. In 2018, they founded and became the head of research at Aiblooms. Additionally, they have served as the co-director of the International Master in Business Analytics and Big Data at MIP Politecnico di Milano since 2015. Carlotta is also involved in promoting women in the field of machine learning and data science as the co-organizer of the Milan chapter of Women in Machine Learning & Data Science (WiMLDS) since 2018.
Carlotta Orsenigo received their Master of Science degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2003.
