For more than 20 years, Tim Sweeney has provided social support to strengthen families and children, particularly those in underserved communities. Most recently he has served as executive director of a nonprofit parenting and counseling center and director of programs at an affordable housing and community development organization. He’s so excited to be supporting the preventative work at the heart of WIN’s mission.
After a childhood that included living in several areas of the U.S., he fell in love with Los Angeles during college and stayed put. Tim loves spending time with his four-year-old son and his lovely wife who works in arts education.
Tim has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, with a minor in American Indian Studies, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
