Tom Hinton

Tom Hinton is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer for Wincanton, the UK’s largest listed logistics company, Tom oversees a workforce of approximately 20,000 and manages significant financial metrics, including £1.5 billion in revenue and £120 million in EBITDA. Previous positions include Group CFO at WE Soda Ltd., where Tom played a pivotal role in establishing an independent UK business, and Group CFO at Domestic & General, where cost-saving initiatives facilitated profit growth. Tom also held multiple financial leadership roles at Centrica, including CFO of Centrica Canada and Finance Director for UK Power Generation, contributing to substantial growth and operational performance. With a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and CIMA qualifications, Tom possesses a strong foundation in both strategic and financial management.
