David Piemme is a seasoned educator and technology specialist with extensive experience in educational technology and program development. As CoFounder of Design to Make a Difference since March 2017, David has driven initiatives to enhance maker-ed programs in collaboration with schools in Southwestern Pennsylvania, evolving from the STEM and City as Our Campus program at Winchester Thurston School, where David has served as Director of Educational Technology since July 2006. Prior roles include Technology Coordinator and Mathematics/Computer Teacher at Community Day School from February 1996 to June 2006. David holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Duquesne University and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
