Ahmed Shaker is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Board Member at WTEC Energy since October 2017, Ahmed oversees financial operations for a diverse company with over 900 employees spread across 20 locations worldwide. Prior to this role, Ahmed held significant positions at Dubai Airports from May 2006 to July 2017, including Corporate Controller and Director of Corporate Financial Accounting, contributing to financial oversight in the world’s busiest airport by international passenger traffic. Additionally, experience as a Senior Finance Manager and Finance Manager at 2XL Furniture & Home Decor, as well as serving as Group Financial Controller for a multi-family group of companies at EY, and beginning as an Auditor from January 1994 to May 2002, has shaped a robust background in finance.
