Chief Innovation Officer (cio) at Windover Construction

Amr Raafat has extensive work experience in the construction and design industry. Amr is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Windover Construction, where they are responsible for driving innovation and technology adoption within the company. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of VDC & Technology and the Director of Virtual Design and Construction at the same company.

Before joining Windover Construction, Amr worked at Shawmut Design and Construction as the Manager of Virtual Studio, where they played a key role in developing and implementing virtual reality and augmented reality capabilities. Amr also worked on 4D animations, 3D construction logistics planning, realistic renderings, and safety planning. Amr was involved in enhancing RFP/Proposals with 3D BIM visuals and data.

Amr has a strong educational background, having obtained a degree in Architectural Engineering. Throughout their career, they have showcased their expertise in virtual design and construction, project management, and innovation in the construction industry.

Amr Raafat's education history includes a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from the Boston Architectural College. Prior to that, they obtained a BS.c degree in Architectural Engineering from Alexandria University. The field of study for both degrees was architecture.
