Health Promotions Specialist at Windsor-Essex County Health Unit

Tolu Adedugbe is a public health professional with extensive experience in health promotions and infectious disease prevention. Currently serving as a Health Promotions Specialist at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, Tolu has led COVID-19 response efforts, manages projects focusing on chronic diseases and injury prevention, and has previously overseen national public health initiatives. Tolu's background includes roles as a Project Manager for the Federation of Black Canadians, where Tolu contributed to health equity projects, and as a case investigator with the CDC Foundation and Supervisor in New Hampshire's COVID-19 response team. Education includes a Master of Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Lagos, complemented by previous experience as a Medical Officer of Health in Nigeria.
