Roman Hirsch

Roman Hirsch has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Roman started their career in 1999 as a European Application Specialist at Leco Instrumente GmbH, where they specialized in GC-TOF and LC-TOF Mass spectrometry. In 2007, Roman joined Midas Pharmaceuticals Inc. as the Director of Dossier Development and later became the VP of Licensing & Partnering. At Midas Pharma, they facilitated partnerships and licensing deals in the North American markets for development and manufacturing partners in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2017, they moved to Midas Pharma GmbH as the Vice President of EU & US Licensing, where they oversaw licensing activities in Europe and the United States. Currently, Roman holds the position of Director of R&D and Business Development at WINDSTAR MEDICAL GmbH, a Germany-based consumer healthcare marketing and sales organization. In this role, they focus on building and promoting branded products, utilizing synergies within the Pro7Sat1 group, and expanding the business into the pharmacy channel.

Roman Hirsch completed their Abitur at Marion-Dönhoff-Gymnasium Lahnstein from 1979 to 1988. Afterward, they pursued their doctoral studies in Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1989 to 1999, obtaining a PhD degree in the field.
