Ben Knight

Ben Knight has worked in the software development field since 2015. Ben began their career as a Software Development Intern at Akerworks Inc., where they built an interface in C++ and Basic for a CNC router. In 2016, they interned at Bottle, a startup aiming to provide businesses and customers with an efficient communication platform. Ben created a web app to crawl social media platforms and gather data about the way businesses use VoIP to contact customers. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Software Developer, where they built a web application to help ensure that Amazon vendors met safety and legal requirements. In 2020, they joined Niantic, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the Pok\u00e9mon GO client. Ben'sprimary focuses were the combat and Pok\u00e9mon inventory systems. Currently, they are a Game Designer at Windwalk Games.

Ben Knight attended Vanderbilt University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science and Physics.
