Michael Nielsen

Michael Nielsen is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in network engineering and computer support. Currently serving as a Network Engineer and Computer Support Specialist at Winneconne Community School District since August 2020, Michael also plays a vital role as Vice President and Advisor for the Winneconne Robotics Club, overseeing the program for students in grades 3-12. Previous experience includes positions as an Infrastructure Engineer at J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc., and as a Systems and Network Administrator at WSI, where responsibilities spanned troubleshooting, network configuration, and IT system maintenance. Michael began their career at Winona State University as an Information Technology Specialist and also operated PkComp Computer Services, offering consulting and support to local community members. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from Winona State University, obtained in 2008.
