Jesse Werner

Jesse Werner is an experienced safety professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Risk & Safety and Senior Manager OHSE at WinSport since July 2021. Prior to this, Jesse held the position of Safety Program Manager at Kettle River Contracting LP, overseeing the health and safety department and improving operational systems. At Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation, from January 2017 to September 2020, Jesse managed the Health and Safety Management System for over 2000 employees, enhancing safety culture for multiple venues. Previous roles include Operations Coordinator for Emergency Preparedness at the Calgary Airport Authority, EHS Manager and Advisor at Newalta, and Safety Advisor at OPX Consulting Inc. Jesse has an extensive educational background, including a Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management certification and a Canadian Risk Management designation from the University of Calgary.
