Darren Ough

Darren Ough is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Winterflood Securities since July 2023. Prior to this role, Darren held a similar position at Aptean from October 2022 to July 2023. Earlier career experience includes working as an Openedge Software Developer at Prima Solutions Ltd from May 2016 to October 2022 and as a Software Development Executive at Shuttleworth Business Systems Limited from August 2006 to May 2016. Darren's career commenced with roles at Petroleum Menswear as an Assistant Store Manager and Catalogue Bargain Store as a Sales Assistant, alongside early experience as an Apprentice Fabricator Welder at Archer Woodnutt. Educational qualifications include a 2:1 BSc(Hons) in Computing and Multimedia from Staffordshire University, completed in 2006, and five GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English from Chesterton High School.
