Kimberly Faust has extensive experience in higher education administration and instruction. From July 2004 to March 2023, Kimberly served as Vice President and Chief of Staff at Winthrop University, acting as principal aide to the President and managing matters of institutional importance while representing the President with government agencies. Prior to this role, Kimberly was an Associate Professor at Fitchburg State University from August 1998 to May 2004, where responsibilities included coordination of the Office of International Education and teaching various sociology and statistics courses. Kimberly began an academic career as an Assistant Professor at The University of Southern Mississippi, instructing in anthropology and sociology from August 1994 to June 1998. Kimberly's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and Master's Degree in Demography and Population Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania.
