Jay Mathew is an experienced professional who has worked in various leadership roles throughout their career. Jay started their career at Unilever in 1993 and held positions such as Territory Manager, Category Manager, and Assistant Marketing Manager. Jay then transitioned into roles focused on brand marketing and sales at Unilever, serving as Assistant Brand Manager, Shopper Marketing Manager, Sales Planning Manager, and Senior Brand Manager.
In 2009, Jay became the Marketing Director for the Unilever Deodorants Business Unit, where they were responsible for branding building and P&L for multiple brands. After leaving Unilever in 2010, they joined Beam Inc. as the VP General Manager, managing the Classics Business Unit and overseeing renowned brands like Canadian Club, Courvoisier, and Laphroaig.
Jay joined Mirum Agency in 2012, where they assumed various senior leadership roles. Jay served as the SVP General Manager of Lunchbox, a shopper engagement agency, leading the Marketing Services team. Jay'sresponsibilities included planning, strategy, and account management. Later, they became the Chief Commerce Activation Officer and eventually the Chief Operating Officer of Mirum Shopper, where they focused on creating immersive experiences to drive conversion.
