Ana Brandão

Ana Brandão is an experienced R&D Engineer currently working at WireCo since May 2023 and previously served as R&D Department Manager at Biosckin Molecular & Cell Therapies S.A. from August 2016 to January 2023. Ana's expertise includes project management in bone grafts and cell therapies, application of PT2020 projects, and implementation of the NP 4457 standard. Responsibilities have encompassed research and development of new products in regenerative medicine, technical documentation creation, and support across quality and sales departments. Prior roles include researcher at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, focusing on synthetic bone graft development, and a master’s dissertation in the evaluation of biocompatible structures for tendon regeneration. Ana holds a master's degree in Materials Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
