Teppo Hemiä started their career at Nokia Technology Platforms in May 1997 as a Design Engineer and held various roles such as Chief Architect, Portfolio Planning from May 2005 to October 2007, Program Manager from October 2002 to May 2005, Project Manager from October 2000 to October 2002, Chief ASIC Designer from January 1999 to October 2000, and Design Engineer from January 1997 to December 1998. Before joining Nokia Technology Platforms, they worked as a Design Engineer Trainee at Nokia Networks from April 1995 to April 1996.

Teppo Hemiä started their education journey in 1992 and completed it in 1996 at Tampere University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science degree. Teppo'smajor was in Digital and Computer Systems, with minors in Electronics and Information Technology. Over the years, they continued to enhance their knowledge and skills by participating in various executive education programs. In 2020, they enrolled in the Aalto CEO Circle program offered by Aalto University Executive Education Ltd. The following year, they attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development for a program focused on International Business.
