Ruth Bretl

Ruth Bretl is an experienced Cytogenetic Laboratory Specialist at The University of Iowa Health Care since September 2014, specializing in standard cytogenetics and FISH technology, with expertise in operating GSL slide scanners. Additionally, Ruth has been a Cytogenetics Technologist at Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories since May 2009, conducting microscopic analysis of various samples for chromosomal abnormalities and utilizing computer-enhanced karyotyping techniques. Prior experience includes a role at Mayo Clinic as a Cytogenetics Technologist from September 2006 to July 2008. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, obtained in 2006.
