Mary Talsky

Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer at Wisconsin Humane Society

Mary Talsky has extensive experience in education and wildlife rehabilitation. As a Social Science Teacher at Pius XI High School since 1985, Mary has taught a variety of subjects, including AP US History and Current World Issues. Additionally, Mary served as an Instructor for Social Science Methods at Mount Mary College from 2005 to 2007, preparing future educators for their teaching careers. Since 2001, Mary has also been a Wildlife Rehabilitation Volunteer at the Wisconsin Humane Society, where tasks include rescuing injured wildlife and assisting in their rehabilitation and release. Mary holds a Master's degree in History with a focus on Modern US from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in History and Secondary Education from Marquette University.
