Mark Grapentine

Mark Grapentine has extensive work experience in policy and advocacy roles within various organizations. Mark currently serves as the Chief Policy & Advocacy Officer at the Wisconsin Medical Society since September 2020. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Communications at the Wisconsin Hospital Association from September 2019 to September 2020. From 2003 to 2019, Mark held the position of Senior VP - Government Relations at the Wisconsin Medical Society. Mark also worked as the Chief of Staff for Senator Peggy Rosenzweig in the Wisconsin State Senate from 2001 to 2002. Mark's career includes a tenure as a Policy Advisor for Governor Tommy G. Thompson in the State of Wisconsin - Office of the Governor from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they served as a Legislative Assistant for Representative Scott Walker in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1997 to 1998. Mark's early career involved working as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WKOW-TV from 1990 to 1994.

Mark Grapentine earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, attending from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where they obtained a JD (Juris Doctor) degree between 1994 and 1997.
