Joseph Owen

Joseph Owen has served as the Director of Government Affairs and Manager of Government Relations at WPPI Energy since November 2012, where advocacy for beneficial state and federal policies for the company's 51 member utilities in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa is a primary focus. Prior to this position, Joseph held roles at Sprint Nextel from August 2006 to October 2012, including Corporate Sales Executive, overseeing a client base with annual billing of approximately $1 million, and Lead Retail Sales Consultant. Joseph's experience also includes time as an Advertising Account Executive at The Onion and working in the Senate Sergeant at Arms Office for the State of Wisconsin. Joseph earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2005.
