Gavin Chang is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2026. Currently serving as the Aerodynamics Lead at Wisconsin Racing, Gavin manages projects focused on the redesign of various components for formula-style racecars, including the front wing, rear wing, nosecone bodywork, and floor. Previously, as an Aerodynamics & Composite Structures Engineer, Gavin led the rear wing design project from conception to manufacturing. Gavin has also gained experience as a Modeling & Simulation Engineering Intern at Oshkosh Corporation, contributing to innovative vehicle projects, and as a Frontend Developer Intern at Nextensio, a startup focused on next-generation networking solutions.
