Colin McGinn

Colin McGinn is a seasoned legal professional currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Justice Initiative since August 2024 and as an Assistant Public Defender for the Wisconsin State Public Defender since May 2022. With prior experience as Director of Advocacy at Hunger Task Force from March 2021 to April 2022 and as an Assistant State Public Defender - Local Attorney Manager from July 2014 to March 2021, Colin demonstrates a strong commitment to public service. Early career roles include teaching positions at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, Colegio Menor de San Francisco de Quito, and The Working Boys' Center, reflecting a background in education. Colin holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, a Master of Arts in Literature from Middlebury College, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
