Alfonso Vazquez

Alfonso Vazquez has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. Alfonso began their career in 1997 as a R&D Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard. In 2000, they moved to PwC as a Technical Manager, where they had an exceptional sales record and was responsible for end-to-end technical delivery. In 2002, they became Technology Director at Aubay and in 2005 they became the CEO of ArchitectsSide. In 2010, they were appointed Head of Big Data Products and Lead IT Strategy Architect at O2 UK. From 2012 to 2013, they were part of the founding team at Roamware, where they were responsible for creating next-generation business intelligence, data science and big data business solutions. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been the Head of Intelligent Agents & Products and co-founder at wiseathena.com, where they are responsible for making cognitive big data products that customers love and that drive real business value.

Alfonso Vazquez has an extensive education history. Alfonso attended SEK from 1985 to 1990 and then went on to Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, where they earned a Software Engineering degree in Computer Science from 1992 to 1998. In 2005, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and completed an IT Strategy program. In 2007, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management and received an Executive Certificate in IT, Operations, and Supply Chain. Finally, in 2010, they attended The Wharton School and earned an Executive degree in Full-Spectrum Innovation Strategies.
