Octavio Hinojosa began their career in 2001 as National Sales Director for Barcel USA. In 2006, they became the SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR for ParkLane Confectionery, GmbH at Grupo Bimbo. In 2015, they were appointed President of Wizerve Marketing, LLC. In 2013, they co-founded Wise Athena, where they served as VP and was recognized by CIO Review in their Top 100 Most Promising BigData Solution Providers. At Wise Athena, they developed a system that maximized revenue during promotional cycles using artificial intelligence.

Octavio Hinojosa's education history includes a Mayor in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1991 to 1995, a Strategic Marketing Management degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2001 to 2001, a Leading with Big Data and Analytics Program from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2015, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship/Scaling Business from Stanford University in 2019. Octavio also has additional certifications from LinkedIn in Leading Virtual Meetings (2020), Coursera in Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content (2020), and Stanford University Graduate School of Business in the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Education Program: Scaling (2019).
