David Vu

David Vu is a Senior Software Engineer at Wise since March 2022, focusing on expanding Wise's offerings to additional Latin American countries. Prior to this role, David spent over four years at J.P. Morgan, initially as a Software Engineer where responsibilities included engineering a data quality framework for trade messages, and later as an Infrastructure Engineer, managing a distributed compute grid using IBM Spectrum Symphony and creating on-demand solutions in AWS. David's earlier experiences include a Summer Technology Internship at J.P. Morgan, serving as a Societies Executive at SUSUtv, and working as an Assistant Store Manager at Komo Gelato. David also led the Paper Crane project, aimed at raising awareness of student mental health issues. Academically, David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton and has completed A levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics at INTO University of East Anglia.
